Join Malawian Performing Artist, Healer, and PeaceBuilder & Educator Masankho Banda for a 14-day trip through one of Africa’s most beautiful countries. Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Wild Animals and the friendliest people you will encounter anywhere. Malawi is called the warm heart of Africa and it is not a cliché. Come experience rural village life and a visit to a game park teeming with all manner of wild life (zebra, lions, hippos, buffalo etc.)

 

Our 14-day trip will include:

·      Living in a village by beautiful Lake Malawi

·      Experiencing and participating in African dance

·      Learning Malawi Culture and History

• Enjoying snorkeling, water sports, hiking, etc…
• Visiting a game park to see a variety of wild life, flowers and enjoying panoramic views
• Enjoying traditional Malawian meals
• Plenty of free time for rest & relaxation

Itinerary:

July 28^th – Leave For Malawi

July 30^th – Arrive in Lilongwe at 1:30pm

July 31^st – Relaxing in Lilongwe

August 1^st - Travel to Salima

August 2^nd to 4^th – Cultural tour of Salima

August 5^th & 6^th – Liwonde game reserve

August 7^th to 9^th – Visiting Tukombo Village

August 10^th – Return to Lilongwe

August 11^th – Return to United States

For his work around the world using music, dance and stories to build peace, ensure justice and foster diversity Masankho is the recipient of the 2001 “Heroes of Compassion” Award by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
